The NJAVC wants to keep you up to date on NJAVC activities and accomplishments, and to help you get in touch with other NJAVC members and friends. One of the most convenient channels for communications is the e-mail mailing list.
While we work behind the scenes to build the technical infrastructure to run mailing lists (and a number of other online resources) here on our new website, we are taking advantage of the free mailing list services provided by Yahoo! Groups. You do not need to be signed up for any Yahoo! web services (though it helps, and it's free). And while Yahoo! is advertiser supported, the ads are generally not intrusive.
The NJAVC currently maintains two primary e-mail mailing lists:
NJAVC Announce - Sign up for this list if you only want to receive important announcements from the NJAVC leadership.
To subscribe, send a blank e-mail message to firstname.lastname@example.org. (To unsubscribe, send a message to email@example.com. You can find more information on this list (including various subscription management tools) here.
NJAVC Talk - This is an open, informal discussion list for friends of the NJAVC. Think of it as a casual gathering in your inbox. While the NJAVC itself will often come up, this list welcomes general banter on all subjects, from requests and offers of advice to personal observations and announcements to friendly but lively debate on the day's hot topics.
To subscribe, send a blank e-mail message to firstname.lastname@example.org. (To unsubscribe, send a message to email@example.com.) You can find more information on this list (including various subscription management tools) here.
